Welcome to Kala Jahir, the City of a Thousand Stories. As you know or might not know this site is dedicated to the wonderful game, Legend of the Burning Sands. This game to myself is the best game FRPG/AEG/WOTC has put out. Yes, I love Legend of the Five Rings. Doomtown is fun for a bit, and I have begun to tap the potential of 7th Sea. Burning Sands is something the other games do not have. It has flavor bigger than life. It has a great story and hopefully Patrick Kapera will be back soon to give us more of his magnificent stories. The system as most Sands players know is much better than L5R. The duels have what we were all hoping we could get from L5R, though now we can parry and the fight doesn't end with who has the highest Chi. Even the 1 Ka hero can kill the 5 Ka hero. Though we all know the chances are not great, but it can be done. Battles in LBS seem to have more of a strategy to them than L5R. Yet again it is not always down to who has the most force, it depends on how you use it in LBS.

The artwork in this game is quite good also. I think some of it is even better than the art that appears in any of the other games. Now granted the backs of the cards could have been better thought out. I am partial to having the backs look like the back of the Faction-backed Jackal card. I just love that color scheme. All in all this game is great. We need to show support so we can have another expansion set, we need to keep getting new players involved, and we need to help out sales of the game.

Well that is enough of an opening rant about the game, and about my feelings on the game. I will be adding new sections as soon as time permits.
